bSocial

Vivid, live and bright. Three words immediately come to mind when looking at bSocial – a magazine style premium theme from ithemes. This especially works with club websites, music, movie and personal websites. The theme is loaded with social features ranging from fields to enter facebook, twitter, youtube, myspace profiles. A video box where you can plug in a “feature video” feed from services like youtube or vimeo. Let me go over the the specifics of the theme:

The Home page

The home page is sure to showcase your best content. A large rotating image with a snippets of your latest posts fills the upper deck. Rotating images especially work because your website will look different every time you refresh the page. It is not dependent on your latest content, update or post. Your audience will notice something different each and every visit. Right below the feature image are three large containers that houses your main message or announcements. For social websites – big and bold works. Right below are smaller widgetized containers. You have the option of enabling what ever plugin you desire to fit in these boxes. The extended footer is 3 columns, the video box on the right, navigation in the middle and your social networking buttons on the right. Very untraditional – can hardly tell it’s a Wordpress powered website.

The Inner Pages

Once inside bSocial, a right sidebar becomes standard. The latest posts is kept on top with the video feed right below. An “about” section replaces where the video box was in the extended footer. All text headings are outlined by a film-like background - which ties in to the vividness of the entire theme. Note that all the elements I mentioned are controlled from the theme admin panel. Also, options such as tracking codes and what goes in your navigation menu can be manipulated from the admin panel. See screenshot below:

Very untraditional and unique. It is the theme to get if you want your website to stand out. Perfect for Bands, Musicians, Club Owners, Dating services and such. bSocial sells for $79 for use in a single website, or $149.95 for multiple websites.
