Whos who is a nice blue and grey theme by ElegantWP. Its subtle gradient backgrounds and clean lines create a presence that is all the more professional. The choice of bright blue for heading titles and links add a very balanced effect to the color schema. This theme is ideal for websites in politics, news or journalism.

The front page

Whos who has a feature box which can house a one feature post. To the right of the feature post is a scroller that pulls random post thumbnails. Once again you see subtle gradients with rounded corners as background. Below the feature are three columns that contain the standard recent and popular posts as well as recent comments. At the very bottom of the page are category boxes which pull the latest post from within that category.

The single post page

I like that each post displays a thumbnail. I like the embedded “share” link and the javascript effect it has when clicked. Note that having an embedded “share” link saves the author a lot of time rather than trying to include this code in each post. The comments template is also very nice. I did notice a couple of small things I didn’t like about the single post page: 

• Too much space is in between the entry title area and the content. I would like to see the content wrap around the thumbnail with enough padding
• Too little space is given in between the post and the comments area
• The comments bubble is pointing at the wrong direction. The tail of the bubble should be pointing towards the author

 



In addition, there are a couple more things I would like to see in this theme:

• Bigger Fonts. Especially in the content area where the fonts are too small
• The theme seems to be missing a search form. Especially a theme for serious bloggers, a search function is a requirement
