If you intend to move off-campus next academic year, select off-campus on your FAFSA. Your cost-of-attendance budget (COA) will then allow you to use any excess funds above fixed costs (tuition, fees) to pay for off-campus expenses. To receive any excess funds, please "Request a Refund" from the student's account. Also, make sure you have proper arrangements (excluding financial aid) in place to pay rent if it is due before classes start. Finally, if you change your housing status mid-year or after you file your FAFSA, email to see how your COA and aid will be affected. Note: Delaware residents receiving an "On-Campus Need-Based Grant" will lose eligibility if they change from an on-campus resident to off-campus status.
