The Autobiography is not adequate for this because it excludes many aspects of his final thought processes (and, according to Manning Marable, three chapters are missing and Alex Haley may have been collaborating with the FBI at the time) -- these thought processes have been taken up by publications by Pathfinder Press which collect his final speeches and bits and pieces from interviews.
